Las Bugambilias was a print created for an art show whose proceeds benefitted the Volunteer Park Conservatory. Our design plays with the idea that our actions affects plant life. Hence why the hands are much bolder than the actual plants, to give a more dramatic take on the idea.
The illustration was then repurposed to create a birthday celebration poster. Since, after all, the original idea stemmed from experiencing and growing with this person’s garden.
