The Firmament Gallery provides a space for visual art in all its manifestations to be witnessed and engaged with. With priority towards bringing visibility and opportunity to visual artists who reflect and engage with Jersey City’s diverse community and with the timely issues of our day, The Firmament Gallery presents innovative artwork professionally and respectfully, frequently in concert and collaboration with other arts programming taking place at the Nimbus Arts Center. As a key presence at the arts center, the Firmament Gallery occupies a central position in Jersey City’s and the State of New Jersey’s art constellations.

The logomark was developed as a visual expression of collaboration, connection, and the exchange of ideas. Its fluid, intersecting curves create a sense of movement and continuity, functioning as visual connectors that represent the flow of information between people, organizations, and communities.
